Gerry January 12, 2021 for Model Number BOSCH dishwasher SMS63M08AU28 Hi. The dishwasher will not turn on and have checked the power to the unit is all OK. I have power to the on/off switch, but when I test the switch I only have continuity when I hold the button down, but otherwise there is no continuity. Do I need a new switch or is it operating correctly?

Josephine June 10, 2019 for Model Number SHX7ER55UC/50 Just replaced power control module. Everything looked good. Ran the dishwasher through one complete cycle and it completed it successfully. Now unit is completely dead. No power, no LED display, no response to any button pushes. Any ideas? I am fresh out. Thanks!
1 Answer Josephine, What was the original issue ? Were there any lit or flashing LED's on the control panel display ? You will probably want to test the On/Off switch 00620775 on the control panel, and the switches and wires on the 10006917 Lock/Latch assembly. And check the wiring from your previous repair, make sure there weren't any loose connections or connections loosened during the repair. Read More...
Sherry May 30, 2018 for Model Number she3arf6uc/22 We had a tornado in our area and lost power. When power was restored, the dishwasher was not working. It has power to it. We replaced the control board and still nothing. Is there a fuse and if so where?, could the switch AP5326240 be the problem and if so, how would I know. This is less than a year old, but they said it was an act of god, so we are trying on our own
1 Answer Sherry, We wouldn't expect the switch or the display/control board to be the issue, at this point. We would expect the 12010647 / 12010647 Power Module to be the issue based on your description. You'll need to partially remove the dishwasher, the module is located on the base of the machine, on the right hand side of the frame. A power outage and/or surge could damage the module, power enters the module, then is distributed to the other dishwasher components and controls. Read More...
