Karen April 29, 2014 My range hood light lens is broken. The model number is not all there. The lens cracked and burned. I want to purchase another but don't want that one to burn. Any suggestions?
1 Answer Hello Karen, If the part you looked up for your unit is correct, you just have to place it so the bulb is as far away as possible. It will still discolor from the heat from the bulb, but if it isn't touching, it will last much longer. There is, unfortunately, no permanent correction for this issue since the heat from the bulb will radiate from the bulb and the lens, being right by the bulb, will still discolor over time.
