Lara July 29, 2018 for Model Number FFEF3016TW When I searched for a baking element using my model number this is the item that came up. However when I type the model number in to see if it is compatible it says that it’s not. And I can’t seem to find anything anywhere that gives me a heating element for this model number. Will this heating element actually be compatible with my oven? Frigidaire FFEF3016TW
1 Answer Ray, A oven bake element will burn in two if there was possible a spill over and was not cleaned off the element it could cause pitting and create a weak spot on the element. Read More...
Lisa April 08, 2018 I have removed the two screws to remove the over door. The door will not come off of the hinges. Is there a trick to getting the door off of the hinges? I have the same Tappan model in the video and am replacing the heating element that I already ordered from your company that arrived today. I need to bake. LOL!
1 Answer Lisa, It should not be necessary to remove the door on the unit in order to replace the heating element. You will want to remove the screws holding in the bake element and pull the element out. Make sure that the power is off when you do this. Make sure that when you do this you put something around the wires to keep them from going back into the wall. Read More...
