Jim December 08, 2019 for Model Number PLCS389DCC I am trying to find a replacement part for my slide in model #PLC389DCC clock control, part # 316272206. My search on your site shows that it is no longer available. What are my options?
1 Answer Jim, unfortunately, as the clock control 316272206 has been discontinued by the manufacturer, we would not know as to where one might be acquired. Having the current control repaired can not be guaranteed to work as we do not perform repair services and can not speak for other companies. Read More...
Nelson February 12, 2016 for Model Number PLCS389DCB I have a Frigidaire gas top/electric oven. When I push CLEAN and START for a self clean cycle the door lock will not engage (no noise at all). When I open the oven door there is a buzzing noise coming from the control board. Is there a way to test the locking motor from the front (which 2 wires) or may be it is a defective control board? Thanks Nelson Model # PLCS389DCB
1 Answer Nelson, if you check on the control board connector P5 from pin 6 which is a Gray wire to pin number 4 which is common and with the unit set to self clean, check to see if there is 120 vac to the lock assembly. If there is not then the control board would be the issue which it sounds like it would be the issue with the buzzing noise coming from the board. Read More...

Turned off breaker, back on get power failure no response, is there test info to determine if it is the keypad or the control ? I want to order the right one the first time. Thank you in advance, David
1 Answer David, Unfortunately the manufacturer does not have a key chart for the membrane switch 318239701 on your unit. Based on the description of the problem the membrane switch would most likely be the cause of failure. Read More...
James L. March 13, 2013 for Model Number frigidaire mo. plcs389d dual fuel range Oven control beeps and error code F1 is in window. Oven worked fine until we used the self cleaning feature. Was in cleaning mode for approx. 2 hrs. before beep and error code showed.
1 Answer Hello James, The F-1 fault code indicates an EOC (Electronic Oven Control), 316272206, failure. If all electrical connections test good, the control will require replacement to restore normal operation. Read More...
