Randall July 23, 2019 for Model Number Fgflz87gcg When lighting the burners the display goes blank and have to unplug and replug to reset the unit. Is this the timer clock going bad or The igniter Thanks
1 Answer Hello Randall, this is not that uncommon a problem, first check the electrical outlet the stove is plugged into it is correctly grounded and polarized, the high voltage spark going from the spark module down the spark wires to the cooktop burner ignitors is causing interference in the oven control board. What you want to check for is, are any of the oven control board wires, laying next to or have shifted and are next to or laying across the spark wires, The fix is to separate the control board wires away from the spark wires slightly and the problem should stop. If that is not the case then the control board would have to be replaced. Read More...

Bruce V. June 13, 2013 for Model Number fgflz87gcg i had a blank clock control board and thru research i replaced it #316462866, work fine for a day, kept going out, had to keep unplugging range to reset, then after 3 days that board no longer worked, got a replacement board, same thing happened after 2 days no longer worked. I ordered onother board and call a tech. out to check to see why the boards kept blowing out. He check all connections and everything else he could think of. He could not help me. Called another company and same thing happened, board was getting power dont know why they keep going out. He said buy a new stove. Help!!!!!
1 Answer Hello Bruce. Check the power coming to the unit. A bad breaker can cause the issue you are having. Does not sounds like the unit, sounds like the house electrical supply. Read More...
Ignacio M July 21, 2012 for Model Number FGFLZ87GCF There is no power on the panel display.could the clock/timer panel be the problem or how do I check it.
1 Answer Ignacio, Yes a defective clock could be the issue. But you do want to use a multimeter and check for 120 VAC from the black wire labeled L1 and the White wire labeled N. If you have the voltage but no display, then the clock is defective. If you have no voltage, then you will need to check and test the wiring from the clock to the terminal block and line cord, to find the damaged or broken wire. Read More...
