This electronic clock timer controls the oven clock and timed cooking functions so you can set start/stop times and monitor remaining cook time. Replaces a failed or non-responsive oven/display clock to restore timed cooking features. What it does:

  • Provides the oven clock display and enables timed bake/clean functions
  • Starts and stops timed cooking cycles when timer/program is set
  • Restores display when the clock is blank, not keeping time, or the timer won't respond
  • Works with the range/oven control board to manage scheduled cook cycles
What's included: One electronic clock timer assembly. Install notes:
  • Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing to avoid shock
  • Remove the control panel trim to access and replace the clock module
  • Handle the replacement part carefully and reconnect all wiring harnesses securely
  • Test the oven clock/timer operation before reassembling the control panel

Hello Randall, this is not that uncommon a problem, first check the electrical outlet the stove is plugged into it is correctly grounded and polarized, the high voltage spark going from the spark module down the spark wires to the cooktop burner ignitors is causing interference in the oven control board. What you want to check for is, are any of the oven control board wires, laying next to or have shifted and are next to or laying across the spark wires, The fix is to separate the control board wires away from the spark wires slightly and the problem should stop. If that is not the case then the control board would have to be replaced.
