That would be a failure of the clock/timer. Replace this assembly.

Ken, Some buttons working and others not would be caused by a faulty clock.

Howard, the L1 and L2 IN terminals on the right side of the control would be tested with a meter. There should be 240VAC when testing from wire to wire at these terminals and 120VAC when testing from each wire to the white wire at pin 5 of the multiple-wire connector.
