Marcio August 29, 2014 for Model Number PLGF389CCC Hi! I am having problem with my stove, it is locking the oven door alone and when I press the button to unlock does not work, even disconnecting and connecting the socket, the oven door does not unlock and the message the locked door keeps popping up! What I have to do, buy a new Touch Pad, an EOC or the whole set? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Marcio. Check the temp probe and make sure it is good. If it is good, then you will need to order and replace the clock 316207603 on the unit. Read More...
Tony February 06, 2014 for Model Number PLGF389ACB Ok. I will order a new overlay as well then. But, what about the adhesive to stick the overlay onto the EOC, does it come with the overlay part? does it come with any sort of directions on how to apply the adhesive on and stick the overlay onto the EOC? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Tony. The adhesive is already on the new overlay. You peel paper off the back and stick it onto the new EOC. Read More...
Tony February 06, 2014 for Model Number PLGF389ACB Thank you for your previous answer. I was wondering if I could reuse the old overlay part on my oven on the new EOC that I would order? Do I need to use a brand new overlay on a new EOC? How does the parts attach to each other (adhesive or screws)? Thanks in advance
1 Answer Hello Tony. You would need to order the new overlay due to the part being secured to the clock with adhesive. Read More...
Tony February 05, 2014 for Model Number PLGF389ACB 99% of the time when I hit the "light" button, it doesn't turn on/off the oven light. But the oven light does turn on and off when you open and close the oven door. Once in a while however, hitting the "light" button will turn on the oven light, but then hitting it again won't turn it off and I'm forced to unplug the oven and replug it back in to turn off the oven light. Is it a bad overlay or a bad EOC? Which part do I need to get to fix the "light" switch button? Thanks in advance
1 Answer Hello Tony. The EOC is bad, but you will need the overlay when you replace the board. Read More...

Lucy July 22, 2013 for Model Number PLGF389CCC Hi, I'm in Canada and I understand that you don't ship internationally. I'm thinking I could have this part sent to my friend in Florida and then mailed on up to me. I just want to check, will the part be the same for the US oven as for the Canadian one? Thanks for your help, Lucy
1 Answer Hello Lucy, The parts for your unit are found by looking up your model number. Whether this is domestic or export is beside the point. Whether your unit uses the export parts or not, the correct parts will be listed under the model number you used to look up the parts. Read More...
Roger S January 12, 2013 for Model Number PLGF389ACA Oven stuck in lock mode - initially was flipping between F1 ERR and Oven Locked - After clearing, symtom kept cycling between those two items - I put oven to clean mode - result: it cut off clean mode and reset to normal display, then symtom began again - Then I powered off the oven for 30 min - after turning on for 5 min, symtom returned - I left it there and this point oven display just showing Lock icon on screen and door is locked - (no longer cycling between the messages) This just started happening this morning when oven was not in use - last use was earlier this morning and only stovetop and warmer drawer were used, not oven Any advice on part that's damanged and requires replacing? - I've had this unit over 10 years - it's a good oven and I've only had to replace the oven ignitor last year - it gets moderate use and we keep it pretty clean.
1 Answer Hello Roger, The F1 error code indicates a runaway temperature. You will want to do a resistance check on the oven temperature probe 316233903. The resistance reading should be 1090 ohms. If sensor checks ok then you will have to replace control board 316207603. Read More...
Melissa Bowers December 07, 2012 for Model Number PLES389ECB I tried installing a new temp probe and a new clock/timer. Neither fixed the problem and the code kept flashing F30 error. Could this part fix the problem? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Melissa, I do not show a reference for code F30 for your model. I do show F3 or F0 codes. Since you have already replaced the EOC or clock 316418735 and the oven sensor 316217002, I would recheck your wiring connections from the probe to the EOC. Hope this helps! Read More...
