Jack July 11, 2018 for Model Number FAFW3574KWO AFFINITY WASHER FAFW3574KWO goes through wash/agitate mode but stops and shuts down on spin cycle;when I go straight to spin cycle, it buzzes/hums for about 3 seconds and shuts down; I checked drain-clean; replaced locking mechanism with a new one , still same symptoms; tried to get erro code; it states error code 43.
1 Answer Jack, The E43 error will indicate that the control board thinks the door locking device has failed. With the door lock having been replaced then this would most likely be a faulty control board. Read More...
Sexysue June 28, 2016 for Model Number FAFW3574KRO Hi My washer when start lets in a little water, then it stops everything is still lighted up and stays that way the timer does not move.
1 Answer Hello Sexysue. You will need to check and see if the door lock is bad and also, check the water valve on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Jim M September 27, 2014 for Model Number Frigidaire Affinity Washer On my Frigidaire Affinity Washer, I almost always use the normal cycle. Now, when I set it to Normal, the LED readout says 59 (instead of 47), and the Spin and Temp LED choices don’t illuminate at all. The Casual, Bulky, and all other cycles work properly. Is this a control board issue? Thanks!
1 Answer Jim, With the normal cycle going to 59 minutes instead of 47, make sure that the selections that you have made are not different which could cause the longer time. If everything checks ok then the control board would be the only other thing that could cause this issue. Read More...
Albert June 29, 2014 for Model Number FAFW3574kwo frigidare My washer gives me an error code E90. Would this be the control panel?
Repairdude April 27, 2014 for Model Number FAFW3574KR0 Washer (with no buttons touched) will beep and then display will light up for a few minutes, then shut back off (this happens in the middle of the night as well). I can start a load and it might go all the way to finish, but mostly machine will stop after less than 5min, then start back where it left off. Its as if a ghost is messing with the machine. I performed an error code check (result EB1) and that led me to "replace the control board". So that said, is "Control Electrical" the part I need, and are all necessary buttons, LEDs ect. included? Please help. I love my washer and HATE having to go to the Laundry Mat!! Dude
1 Answer Repairdude, The EB1 is an indicator that the incoming power frequency is out of limits. You will want to have the power company check the frequency of the incoming power. If that is good then you will want to replace the control board part number 137006070. Read More...
