1 Answer Thomas, At this point you need to check the wiring and the door switch circuit 134813660. This is the component that has caused the E41 error code, not the latch(at this point). The J2 pin 1 connector on the control board is 120 VAC out to the door switch. Pin2 red/black is the return line. With the door closed and power applied to the washer there should be 120 VAC from each wire to chassis ground. Be careful, this is a "live" voltage test. Read More...

Greg April 02, 2012 for Model Number lafw3577kw1 My washer shuts down at time of rinse in the wash cycle. It's count down time varies at 34 minutes to 24 minutes. I replaced the control board and the door lock.
