1 Answer Hello Bill. Test and make sure there is 240 volts coming to the unit. If so, you will need to test and see where you are loosing the power at. See if there is power coming to the electronic control 316239403KITK. If so, and no power coming out, replace the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Bill February 17, 2012 for Model Number plef398ccd hi, like many others, we have a stove/range that has burner problems...i.e won't shut off. In this case top right dual element. I have replaced the switch but that did not work. i have disconnected the switch from the element and that also did not work. Next is the replacement of the control board. Is there a certain method for this to avoid shorting out the control board. Standard precautions taken..i.e power disconnected etc... Have any ideas?
