K. Bryant May 15, 2021 for Model Number FGEF3030PFB My issue is with the front right burner, the large one. This burner will turn on, but won't stay on. The burner turns off after a few seconds. I've already replaced the element switch (part # 316436001), but still having the same issue. I believe I would now have to replace the burner element itself (part # 316291200). Any suggestions?

Don December 25, 2019 for Model Number FGEF3041KFB The big element when you turn it on, it will stay on. You have to turn it off and then turn it back on to regulate the heat at the temp you want. Is it the element that I have to replace?

Based on what has been described, the L2 side of the switch going to the element is not opening the contacts once the element has drawn enough amps to get to the temperature selected. Read More...
Christopher February 02, 2014 for Model Number Frigidaire electric element PART NUMBER: 318198827 The ring around my element is cracked. I wonder if there is any danger or potential problems associated with using the element, such as heat slipping out and causing uneven pressure on the glasstop surface. It isn't missing any thing, is just cracked.
