Tim H November 13, 2016 for Model Number kenmore 79094142310 Why is top of range so hot in use you can not touch it.
1 Answer Tim, When using the cooktop or oven the range will get hot due to the heat radiating from either the top or the oven. The oven vents out of the front of the unit and will cause the heat to rise and cause the top to be hot. The surface elements radiate heat when cooking and there fore the top will be hot. Also if you are using oversize pots for the burner it will cause this as well. Read More...
Mjm September 29, 2016 for Model Number RG35AL2 Burner on page is "out of stock",but is replaceable for model however no description is available. I'm assuming four coils represents Small 6" burner replacement part, correct? Curious.....why small burner cost more than large burner?..........
1 Answer MJM, That's one way of designating the different elements. But the elements are usually designated by size 6 in. vs 8 in. in overall width. The number of coils isn't quite accurate enough. The 318372211 / 5303015210 is the 6 in. coil element and, the 5308011964 / 5308011964 is the 8 in. coil element for the model number you supplied. The 6 in. coil element is out of stock and would require a few extra days(5-10) to order and deliver the part, once the order is placed and processed. Thanks, Read More...
