Hinge [318024714] and the manufacturer's substitute part [318024747] have been discontinued for quite some time. That being said, some of these hinges are shipped in the closed position and require the appropriate tools to be opened for installation.

This part has been discontinued by the manufacturer & is no longer available. No alternate or substitute part has been recommended by the manufacturer.

Henry, No, you cannot interchange these hinges in which both are discontinued with no suitable replacement.

Jake, You will have to push the door down to get the door hinge low enough to lock the hinge in place to get the door off. There is no real way to do this without applying pressure or weight to it.
