Justin D. July 16, 2013 for Model Number LGBD2431NF0b this is a frigidaire dishwasher. Would not work when you pushed the start button, even though the control panel would light up. The person that worked on it for me says I need a "door latch switch". The problem seems to be the switch that allow the dishwasher to start once the door was closed washed working so it didn't seem like the door was closed. I can not find what I think is the correct part, except maybe the whole control panel or the same model number. Can you help? Thank you
1 Answer Justin, The "key pad" / insert for the model number you supplied should be 807327602. You will need to remove power to the dishwasher, access the control board and disconnect the key pad ribbon from the control. You then need to "peel" the insert off the control panel, and remove any left over adhesive, then remove the backing from the back of the new component, insert the ribbon through the slot in the panel, and carefully install the insert, it's a "one shot" deal, once it sticks, it's stuck for good.
