This insulation panel fits inside the refrigerator cabinet to help maintain interior temperatures and reduce heat transfer to the outer shell, supporting more consistent cooling and helping limit frost buildup. What it does:

  • Forms a thermal barrier between the interior liner and outer cabinet to help hold cold air inside.
  • Helps reduce frost and moisture buildup around the liner when intact.
  • Worn, torn, or missing insulation can contribute to longer run times, uneven cooling, or more frequent defrost cycles.
  • Replaces damaged insulation to restore proper temperature retention and improve appliance efficiency.
What's included: One insulation panel. Install notes:
  • Always disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repair.
  • Panel may be secured with clips, adhesive, or foam sealant; remove and install carefully to avoid damaging the liner.
  • Inspect surrounding seals, gaskets, and fasteners while accessing the cavity; replace any damaged components.

Hello Rebecca, The oven wrapper insulation is 316403700. If you need the insulation under the lower shield you would need to order 316509600 and if the insulation for the oven back is needed you would need to order 316403601. The insulation will need to be inspected to determine if it is needed or not. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Danny, Unfortunately there are no videos that show how to replace the insulation. To do this you will want to remove the main top of the unit and may have to remove the side panels. Once this is done you will lay the insulation blanket over the top and sides and reassemble.

Hello Bob! Unfortunately, we do not have the width information available. Searching the appliance model number given this is the original top and side insulation and will be the same measurements as what is currently on your unit. Thanks!

Hello Deven, Your model number is incomplete but I think this oven insulation 316403700 is what you need. The model number needs to come from the serial tag on the appliance itself, not the user manual. The user manuals are for a series of different models. In this case the oven insulation is likely the same for the model series you have. Thanks!
