A Mcgrath April 14, 2017 for Model Number EIDW6105GW1 This model does not give a code. All lights on panel flash at once and machine won't run. If I push and hold the start button flashing stops, preset program lights come on and everything seem normal until I push start. Then flashing starts again and when I close the door all lights go out. Tried disconnecting power for hard restart ( worked once before) but no change. Any tips? Thanks, Art
1 Answer A. McGrath, The most likely cause for this issue would be a faulty main control board which is part number 154750502. Read More...
Mark October 18, 2015 for Model Number EWDW6505GS0 I am getting Error code 02. The manual states the Thermistor has failed. Can you tell me what part that is? I could not find it by searching. Also, does the error code automatically mean I need to replace this part or can something else be causing the problem? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Mark, This code shows when there is an issue with the thermistor or turbidity module 154473901. This can be an issue with a connection, a harness, or the control. Read More...

Gary S. January 16, 2014 for Model Number EWDW6505GSO Electrolux dishwasher We had a drain backup due to debris blockage from garbage disposal. Error code 01 appeared the next time we ran the dishwasher. I pulled out the dishwasher and found water in the bottom tray. I removed the tray and cleaned out the water and also put a fan on it for two days. When I restarted the dishwasher, code 01 appeared within 30 seconds. I tried this several times with same result. The unit has now been unused for two months ( bottom tray is not installed) and same thing happens. Therefore, I do no believe the leak repair kit will solve the problem. It seems to be either a sensor problem or a computer problem. I am trying to figure out what too do next.
1 Answer Hello Gary. Per the manufacturer, you need to replace the complete kit 154825501 for the code. Read More...
Richard S. January 17, 2012 for Model Number Electrolux EIDW6305GS1 I have error code Er 01. Leak Detector - Water detected under tub. I believe this is senor Part Number 72 on the Motor and Pump Diagram. Part Number on your site is AP4319569. Is this the correct part for the water detection? I plan to pull the dishwasher and trouble shoot the issue, but thinking this sensor may be malfunctioning as I do not know why a 3 year old Dishwasher would leak. I did have to replace the lower fan a few weeks ago, but that should not have caused any water leakage issues. What would be a common cause of water detected under tub? Also, any suggestions for trouble shooting? I am getting frustrated with this appliance. It does not clean well, does not load Fiesta Ware dishes well at all, and now two failures in the past month. Reviews do not care for the dishwasher either. Is it worth my effort to fix or just go buy a Bosch? Thanks, Richard
1 Answer Hello Richard. You will need to look with the unit running and see if you can see a leak under the unit. It is not common for the sensors 154655901 to go bad on the units. If the unit is not cleaning well, the water valve may be bad and not letting in enough water to wash the dishes good, or the fine filter in the bottom needs to be cleaned out on the unit. Hope this helps. Read More...
