John G September 27, 2018 for Model Number EI23BC35KS4 We have a french door Electrolux fridge freezer. About a week ago the fridge section was getting warmer, the freezer remained at zero F. The fridge temperature went up and down between 34F and 56F over a 24 hour period, now it remains at 56f all the time. It sounds like the compressor is running. Any ideas what needs replacing please?
1 Answer John, You will want to make sure that the evaporator coils in the freezer compartment are not impacted with ice. If this is the case then test the defrost thermostat and defrost heater to make sure that they have continuity. If this checks ok then the main board would be the issue. Eric September 18, 2018 for Model Number Frigidaire FGHD2368TF3 is the thermistor located in the air damper assembly? also, does it come with the assembly if you order the whole assembly? my refrigerator is still freezing food, I have raised the temper by over 7 degrees Fahrenheit and I'm still getting frozen food. I have had the main control board at the bottom of the fridge and the touch screen panel that controls the temperature and I have also had the air damper assembly replaced but I'm still getting the same issue. I am now thinking the thermistor or something of that nature might be messed up.

Ryan August 26, 2018 for Model Number 25344509607 I have an EF error code. I see that that can be a result of a defective Evaporator Fan, so I purchased that motor and still get this code. I now see you have a comment for the control board that sometimes this sensor can cause the issue (this sensor tells the controller that the fan is blowing). Is that the case with this model, and if so can you advise where I can find this sensor?
