For Frigidaire Cooktop Surface Burner Element (Part Number: OEM11335641)

Hello Luigi, thank you for contacting APP, I was unable to find CPE3085KF6, but I was able to find CPES3085KF6. If only the Left Front Burner is not working, and the Bridge Burner Element has been replaced, this issue could be related to the Surface Element Board 318411401 not telling it to come on, or the Relay Board 316442119.

Kevin for Model Number PLES389CCB

I purchased the replacement bridge element OEM Part #318258201 for my Frigidaire PLE389CCB stove. Took stove top apart and when I went to install new element found that all the wiring connections had been reconfigured. Tried to match up old 1a, 1b, 2a, etc.wires to new connections but front knob ends up turning on back burner and vice versa and bridge element doesn't turn on. Is there any info available regarding making the right connections to the new configuration? Thank you for your assistance.

Kevin, Unfortunately there is no video or instructions for installing this element. It sounds like you wired it properly but may have it turned around the wrong way and it sounds like you may not have connected the wire to the bridge burner. The connectors should be facing toward the center of the cooktop. Also make sure that you are connecting the correct wires to the correct element.

Hello Louise, This design has to have both front and rear on the left element replaced at the same time as they are made as an assembly 318258201 if the control 318191000 is not the issue. The part can be replaced by anyone competent but I would recommend an appliance repairman before even considering an electrician since electricians are not trained in appliance disassembly or reassembly.

Dorothy, For the right front burner not working unless the right rear is turned on then this sounds like it would either be in the wiring or a bad switch. You will want to check the switch for the left front and check the element to make sure it is not burnt.

Hello Jim. Remove burner box from slide in range. Unscrew the burner box from all sides. Remove the burner box from the glass top. Remove • the retainer bar by applying pressure to the extremity and pulling the anchorage away from the retainer bar in order to free the surface element.
