Robert April 17, 2012 for Model Number 79046583501 I think there is a different switch for small burners vs. large. Which one is this for? I need one for a large burner.
1 Answer Hello Robert, Looks like for an 8" surface element you need a 903136-9010. If you need on for a 6" element you should order a 903136-9020. Read More...
Armand March 10, 2012 for Model Number 790.45482502 I am trying to install this switch. This is supposed to be for the front left burner. I need to know how to wire this up. I believe this may be different than the original one.
1 Answer Hello Armand. Sears doesn't support the wiring diagrams so I would recommend looking for the wiring diagram on the unit. It will either be on the back of the unit or you may have to pull the drawer out and look at either the back, side, or bottom of the drawer. some are under the unit where in the drawer opening behind the drawer or off to the side. Of course the ideal way to change it is one wire at a time, putting the wires to the terminal marked the same way the terminal on the old switch. Sorry I couldn't help any more. Good luck and have a great day! Read More...
