James September 23, 2020 for Model Number Kenmore dish washer model 58715263900A Will not come on. Only one green light on under the heat dry button, that says “hold for 3 seconds”. No other lights light up. Thanks any help you can give
1 Answer James, the light under the heat/dry button is going to be a control lock. To disengage the control lock, the heat/dry button would need to be pressed and held for 3 seconds or until the light turns off. This will allow for the user interface to be able to accept input. Read More...
Dan February 17, 2019 for Model Number Frigidaire Dishwasher LFBD2409LF0B Dishwasher won't start. Only light works is the lock light. I'm trying to decide if it's the switch or the circuit board. Is there any way to check this?
1 Answer Dan, you may want to check to see if the control lock was engaged. To do this, you will want to press the rinse only pad for three seconds while the door is shut, and the lock light should turn off. If it does, then the control lock was engaged. If it does not operate after this step, then you would have a user interface issue [154852501]. Read More...

Jeff March 07, 2017 for Model Number FFBD241NS6B Unit will start momentarily then lights flash shut the door slight hard unit runs fine.
1 Answer Hello Jeff. You will need to check the door latch and switches on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Doug December 12, 2015 for Model Number FFBD2411NS0A I can't get the start button to work. I can feel it depress like the others though. The other buttons light up when pressed. If I use the Delay start it will run the complete cycle. I was thinking the 807024701 control board or the 154852501 switch assy. Not sure.

Rebecca July 01, 2015 for Model Number FFBD2411NW0A I am following up my question from Sunday. How do you check the door switches? We have power to the the control panel when the door is closed. We replaced the switch assembly as you suggested but the problem remains. We disconnected the power supply for 5 minutes; we reconnected the power supply and the Hi Temp and Heat Dry lights blinked; we tried Heat Dry-Normal Wash-Heat Dry-Normal Wash and nothing changed; we pressed Start Cancel and all lights went out; if we press Start Cancel several times the Normal Wash and Washing lights will blink then pressing Start Cancel again causes them to go off. The dishwasher does not start. What is your next suggestion?
1 Answer Hello Rebecca. Continuity is the test. NC to COM should read closed and NO to COM should read open and when you close the latch, these should reverse. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
