1 Answer Hello Aimee. Check and see id the lid switch is bad on the unit and needs to be replaced on the unit. If it is bad, it will prevent the unit from spinning. Also, test for power to the drain pump. If there is power there and it does not drain, either clean out or replace the pump on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Jan R August 05, 2012 for Model Number FLEB8200DSO i CAN'T FIND A PLASTIC CLIP ON TH BACK OF MY TIMER. MAYBE IT'S ALREADY BROKEN OFF, BUT i JUST SEE THE END OF A PLASTIC SHAFT WITH A FLAT ON ONE SIDE THAT SEEMS TO BE PART OF THE KNOB. THE WHOLE SWITCH SEEMS LOOSE SO THAT PUSHING IT IN TO SELECT THE CYCLE AND PULLING IT OUT TO TURN IT ON DOESN'T WORK. THE SCREW JUST UNDER THE KNOB LOOKS LIKE IT SHOULD HOLD IT IN PLACE, BUT IT'S LOOSE. AND WITHOUT GETTING THE KNOBS OFF I HAVE NO ACCESS TO THE SCREW. I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING THAT I WOULD CALL A CLIP OR ANYTHING HOLDING THAT KNOB ON. AND I CAN'T LOCATE A CLIP IN ANY VIEW OF THE SWITCH YOU SHOW. I THINK I'M STUCK UNTIL I GET AN ANSWER BACK FROM YOU. 1 Answer Jan, You're sort of on track. To remove the timer knob, you first have to have access to the back of the timer assembly.You'll need a small flat blade "pocket" screwdriver, You will need to use the screwdriver to carefully pry out on the "D" shaped shaft in the center of the opening( only pry it out 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch),once the shaft is partially extracted, you can remove the timer knob off the timer shaft from the front of the assembly. 1 Answer Hello Pat. Disconnect the power and remove the back cover off the control panel. Pull the plastic clip on the back of the timer out, so you can remove the timer knob. Once the knob is removed, you will release the clip securing the timer and slide it out of the control panel. Unplug the wires going to the timer.
