Mitch March 08, 2021 for Model Number JHC56 OV7AD We have an old GE Americana double oven range unit (model JHC56 OV7AD). The top oven heater element shorted. Part WB44X195 appears to be the right one, IF viewed from the bottom up (i.e., with support legs up). This also appears to be the number on the support bracket. Please confirm that the pictures you post are with support legs up (or, viewed bottom up). I also viewed your replacement video. We do not have the male/female connectors currently; the hot leads from the heater element are connected via small metal connectors (maybe 3/16 in x 1/2 in or so). Can I continue to use these or do you recommend something else? Thanks!
1 Answer Mitch, the broil element at the top of the oven in model provided is part number WB44X134. Read More...

Dave March 29, 2014 I have a older model, small upper GE oven in my home. The lower heating element needs replaced. My element looks exactly the same as model number WB44X195. The dimensions are almost 6" from side to side at the widest part and almost 19" from the metal plate where it attaches to the oven to the end. Could you tell me if the WB44X195 would work for my oven based on the dimensions provided??
1 Answer Hello Dave! Without the model number we can not guarantee this part will work on your model. This oven bake element has similar measurements to the ones given, approx. 6" across at the widest section, approx. 18 3/4 long to the metal plate, and the terminals are approx. 1 1/2" apart. The terminals are screw-ons. If purchased and this item does not fit your unit you'll have 365 days to return the part for credit. I hope this information helps you. Thanks! Read More...
