Barry July 02, 2012 for Model Number WB23K5027 I'm going to get the infinite switch as recommended. Re the install...looking at the back of the broken one I have, does it matter what order the wires from the burner terminal block are hooked up to the infinite switch. Looks like one wire goes to the bottom left terminal(1-H1) and the other to the top left (4-H2) but no sure which side of the terminal block they are coming from. I don't want to blow the switch by reversing the connections.

Barry F June 22, 2012 for Model Number WB23K5027 I have the same situation as Phil, above, where the surface unit light won't go off but the left front burner control switch and burner element still work ok. Can I jusr unhook the wire from that burner switch to the light,assuming I don't care if the light works or not? My stove is model jsp34ww3ww. Thanks
1 Answer Barry, You could disconnect the yellow wire from the "P" terminal of the switch, It's not a good idea, though.The light is there for safety reasons more than anything else. Keeps you from getting hurt. You really need to replace the infinite switch as soon as possible. Thanks Read More...
Phil January 11, 2012 for Model Number RB755GN6WH The burner light on the left hand side of the stove stays on but switches and burners seem to work fine. I disconnected the light from the 8" burner switch and the light went off but the switch and the burner still worked fine. Is there a short in the switch? Thanks. Phil
