Leslie February 23, 2016 for Model Number DPXR473EWIWW We are getting a lot of lint outside on the ground under dryer vent. The lint trap appears to have a few open contacts. I ordered a new lint trap and am hoping this will fix the amount of lint being blow outside. Was hoping to get your view. The current mesh on trap is in full contact. Again, I think it may be the Plastic frame of the trap that doesn't have a tight connection.
1 Answer Leslie, It is not uncommon to have lint coming from the dryer vent as the lint filter can collect a lot of lint but lint will still pass through. A new filter may help with the excessive amount but would still have some that comes out. Read More...
