Bruce March 02, 2015 for Model Number GE JBP30W0B1WW We cannot open the oven door. It appears to be sticking in the lower left corner. I wonder if something is wrong with the hinge, but I can't find a way to get in open to inspect it and don't want to force the door for fear of breaking something else. Is there a trick to gain access to the hinge or to be able to get the door open to service it?

John Y. July 11, 2012 for Model Number J BP66W0K2WW I did a repair on the oven door handle, and now the oven door does not stay open when it is pulled all the way to the open position. There must be a latch or (??) something on the door hinge / spring assemby that is not set correctly. Is there a photo or diagram that could show me how the hinges should be set? Note: I did not take the hinges off the stove, nor did I take the door off the hinges.

1 Answer Hello Gloria. Insert the hinges into the stove body openings. Then lower the door all the way down in the open position. Take the clips on the hinges WB10T10006 and close them toward the oven body, unlocking the hinges. Now the door should close. Hope this helps. Read More...
