But the top tray where the fingers travel two of the plastic dividers are broken. I could send you a picture of it. The maker is working fine but two cubes get stuck where the tray tabs are missing. Do you sell that part?

There is very little space in the freezer compartment, and I don't see any fasteners and I can't tell how to remove and install the unit.

1 Answer James, it is possible that the ice maker mold heater is not heating properly. This can cause ice to stick when in a harvest mode and sling out of the ice maker when being harvested. This can be caused by the ice maker motor contacts not completing a circuit properly, or by the heater starting to fail. Jim February 27, 2020 for Model Number PFSS5NJWASS My ice maker is not working. The green light does not light up. The water dispenser works although I did replace the filter recently. I’m unsure whether there is any connection. As far as I know the ice maker was working before the water filter was replaced but I’m not certain. 1 Answer Jim, with the door switch pressed in, the ice maker would need to be tested for 120VAC at the silver wire. If there is 120VAC and the ice maker fill tube is not blocked up with ice, the ice maker WR30X35285 has failed. If the fill tube is blocked up with ice, it will need to be cleared and the water valve WR57X33326 would need to be replaced. If there is not 120VAC and the freezer light is on, then the door switch WR23X21444 has failed. If the freezer light is not on when the switch is pressed, the switch would need to be tested for 120VAC at the silver wire. If 120VAC does not register, the switch has failed. If the switch is sending 120VAC but the ice maker is not receiving 120VAC, then there is a wiring issue. Read More...
