James March 14, 2015 for Model Number JGSP23BEY4BB Ignitor on my GE gas range started glowing dimly & oven burner would not light. I purchased a new GE ignitor & installed it. The new ignitor would not light. I checked voltage to the ignitor & it was 120 volts. Called GE & asked for ignitor part # for my stove. It is WB13T10001. The new ignitor I installed is WB2X9998. Is this new ignitor the right one for my oven or do I have some other problems.
1 Answer Hello James, Either of these ignitors should work so you most likely have a control valve WB21T10001 issue. Note that the ignitor still has to glow from yellow to white hot for normal operation to take place. Read More...
Lambert H. November 22, 2013 for Model Number JGSP44WEY1WW The video on how to install this part does not play. Is there another site I can get this video?

Warren P September 18, 2013 for Model Number GE Gas Oven I have a GE Gas Oven, and the lower igniter quit working around 5 months ago. I replaced the igniter with one from this website (model WB13T10001) and it worked fine. Today, the oven popped the circuit breaker as soon as the "start" button was pushed after the temperature was set. Checked the breaker and it is OK. The burners light fine and the electronics work fine, it just kills the breaker when the oven "start" button is pushed. My guess is a short in the igniter. How can I check this?
1 Answer Warren, This does not sound like it would be caused by the igniter shorting out but possibly the wiring to the igniter. You will want check the wiring in your unit for a broken connection. Read More...

Craig April 13, 2011 for Model Number JGSP44BEY2BB My oven still lights and works fine, but the broiler will not come on. Do I need a new igniter?
1 Answer Hello Craig. You will need to check and see if the broil igniter is coming on. If it is, but is not getting hot enough, the broiler will not lite. If the igniter is not coming on, you will need to check and make sure you have power coming to the igniter. Hope this helps. Read More...
