This spark igniter creates the arc that lights the gas burner, restoring quick, reliable ignition in your range or oven. Replacing a worn electrode helps eliminate hard starts, intermittent lighting, and nonstop clicking.

  • Generates a high-voltage spark at the burner to ignite gas
  • Helps resolve burner won't light, delayed ignition, or intermittent sparking
  • Can reduce continuous clicking caused by a weak, damaged, or mispositioned electrode
  • Typical signs include no visible spark or a cracked ceramic insulator
What's included: 1 spark igniter electrode
  • Disconnect power and shut off gas; allow the appliance to cool before service
  • Handle the ceramic insulator carefully; avoid bending or striking the electrode tip
  • Position the tip near the burner port; ensure a solid ground and secure bracket
  • Reconnect the lead firmly, then test for a strong spark before reassembly

Hello James, Either of these ignitors should work so you most likely have a control valve WB21T10001 issue. Note that the ignitor still has to glow from yellow to white hot for normal operation to take place.

Hello Lambert, I just viewed the video. It seems to be completely operational. There could be an issue with your internet connection or maybe your virus protection is preventing it from playing. You can also go to u-tube to view our videos.

Warren P for Model Number GE Gas Oven

I have a GE Gas Oven, and the lower igniter quit working around 5 months ago. I replaced the igniter with one from this website (model WB13T10001) and it worked fine. Today, the oven popped the circuit breaker as soon as the "start" button was pushed after the temperature was set. Checked the breaker and it is OK. The burners light fine and the electronics work fine, it just kills the breaker when the oven "start" button is pushed. My guess is a short in the igniter. How can I check this?

Warren, This does not sound like it would be caused by the igniter shorting out but possibly the wiring to the igniter. You will want check the wiring in your unit for a broken connection.

Hi John. The igniter part # is WB13T10001. Make sure the burner is clear (unobstructed). If this still exist after replacing the igniter, the safety regulator is part # WB21T10001 . Thank You.

Hello Craig. You will need to check and see if the broil igniter is coming on. If it is, but is not getting hot enough, the broiler will not lite. If the igniter is not coming on, you will need to check and make sure you have power coming to the igniter. Hope this helps.
