1 Answer James, as ice will dispense, the paddle WR17X20449 would not be the cause of failure for the model provided. It would be recommended that the water valve WR57X33326 is tested by disconnecting the 5/16" tubing connector at the door hinge and aiming the tubing from the back into a cup. With the water dispenser pressed, there should be water that comes out into the cup if the valve is working properly. This would indicate a frozen water line in the door WR78X12663. If water does not come out, the water valve would need to be tested for 120VAC when the dispenser is pressed. If there is voltage, the valve has failed and would need to be replaced. Read More...
