Description

The Ice Dispenser Paddle Assembly is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. It is a component located inside the ice chute that guides ice cubes from the freezer bin out through the dispenser and into a glass below. 

Symptoms of a bad paddle assembly include:

• Ice cubes remaining stuck in the chute and not dispensing
• Incomplete dispensing with ice falling back into the freezer  
• Blockages or backups occurring in the ice dispenser tube

Causes of a bad paddle assembly can include broken or cracked paddles, mineral buildup inhibiting proper movement, or damage over time like worn-out bearings.
