Jen P January 02, 2014 I am trying to replace this rotary sw and I cannot get the little bottom screw off.. is there a trick? I have the back panel off and the two wires off the switch, but cannot get the old switch off. HELP please :)

1 Answer Hello Rhonda, To replace the rotary switch and knob. Pull knob straigth off. Access the rear of control panel by removing screws in the panel making sure the unit is unplugged. Once you have access you will then lift tab and twist part out. Disconnect wire 1 at a time and reconnect to new one as you pull them off. Once you do this just replace in reverse. Read More...
1 Answer Hi Marno. There is a wiring diagram in the control panel area folded up. The start switch is a momentary switch and will work either way connected. The tan is the Common and the gray is the "N/O". The wires are usually cut and trimmed so they will reach to their normal positions. Thank You. Read More...
