Jose September 13, 2011 Can you tell me what the resistance of this sensor should be? Thank you, Jose
1 Answer Hello Jose. You can ohm out the sensor and see if it is bad. It should read around 15 ohms at room temperature. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
David March 21, 2011 for Model Number part number AP2023862 I need a sensor AP2023862. I understand that sensor comes with a connector but I need the mate connector which the sensor connector could plug in. (The old one from oven side was milted/burned). Please let me know the part number & where I may be able to get it. Is there any alternative method?
1 Answer Hello David. The easiest way to fix your problem is to cut the connectors off, strip the wire back and connect them using ceramic wire nuts. Hope this helps. Read More...
Charles March 11, 2011 for Model Number 911.93481990 I have an oven that keeps heating with the oven off I replaced the main board and it does the same thing. what are the other possible problems. I would appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Charles. Check your outlet and make sure it is getting the proper voltage. Also trace the wires at the terminal block and make sure they are ok. Then trace the wires on the element that stays on and look for melted or burnt wires. Hope this helps. Read More...
