Roger September 21, 2023 for Model Number newyork18 I have a Hot Point gas range(stove) the model number is RGB745BEH9CT. The ignitor of the range has kept sparking all the time since a few days ago, then I cannot ignite any burners anymore. Please tell me what part may cause this problem. Thank you so much.
1 Answer Roger, based on the information provided, it sounds like one of the burner switches has failed and has constant continuity when it should not while the burner is off. Unfortunately, both switches used with the model provided, WB24K10023 and WB24K10024, have been discontinued by the manufacturer and are no longer available. Switch failures like this have the potential to cause the spark module WB13X42446 to fail as well and no longer allowing any burners to spark. Read More...

Michael December 03, 2016 for Model Number DJGBP85BEJ4BB Oven control not working, after installation of new part no. WB27K10147.
1 Answer Hello Michael. Make sure you have it wired properly and make sure there is power coming to the board. If there is no power, then check the outlet and look for a wiring issue. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
John June 04, 2015 for Model Number JGB281SER4SS I ordered and received WD13K1OO54 is this the correct spark module for my stove and is there any instructions for installing it
1 Answer Hello John. Yes, it is the correct spark module. You will access your old module behind the control panel. Replace the part. If the igniters need replaced, you can use the ones sent in the kit. If your old ones are good, you can use them. Read More...
George February 17, 2014 for Model Number JGBP32DEM1WW One of my 4 stove ranges does not seem to be working. The gas ignites with a match. I tried to replace the electrode with a new one and one from one of the working ranges. Also tried changing the wiring from one of the working ranges (the not working wire worked on another burner). The clicking sound goes off but I am not able to see a spark on the non-working range. Is it possible I need to replace the Spark Module? Is there a way to test that particular part to see if that is it? Thanks again for all your help.
1 Answer George, You will want to check the ignition switch for that burner with a continuity tester. When the switch is in the on position there should be continuity across the switch and if not then the switch is bad. If the switch checks ok and the electrode has already been replaced then the spark module will most likely be the issue. Read More...

I have change a new spark electrode, still doesn't work! Do you think what parts should I need to change (Broken)?
1 Answer Dick, If the ignitor is sparking then you will want to check the burner to make sure that the holes for the gas to flow out of are not clogged up and check to make sure that the ignitor is in the correct position. Read More...
