My microwave surface light stopped working I put in a replacement bulb but the light does not turn off with the switch? What is the correct part to replace and any tips to replace it

Mike, If when you push the light button on the control to turn the light off but it stays on then the control board would have a stuck relay on it for the light. You would need to replace the control board for this issue.

Hello Rick. One of the door switches are bad and you will need to replace the door switch on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. When cooking some popcorn, the oven shuddered and made a sound. When the popcorn was compete, it was removed from the oven and when the door was closed, it sounded like the oven was still running. When the door was opened, the sound stopped but the interior light was on. When the door was closed the sound of it running started again. What is in need of replacement? Donald R
