Mike January 31, 2013 for Model Number ge washer whdsr109j5ww Just replaced timer and water fills up but does not agitate or spin when it gets to spin cycle. Worked fine until I changed the timer. Had to replace it because child forced the knobs and broke the small plastic gears in the timer.
1 Answer Hello Mike, You will want to check continuity of the lid switch with door closed. If there is no continuity then you will want to replace the lid switch. If there is continuity then you will want to check to make sure that there is power from the timer to motor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
