Kenny October 27, 2021 for Model Number wsm2700hbwww AS of yesterday the washer will not turn on.Lid switch good. Dryer works good.. hear faint buzz when timer knob activated.
1 Answer Kenny, the buzz would likey be from the water valve WH13X10035 receiving voltage but not allowing water through. If the timer can be advanced to spin and the unit spins properly, but the water valve did not allow water to pass through while voltage is being applied, the valve would need to be replaced. Cherry April 02, 2020 for Model Number GE WSM2700DAWWW Hi, My laundry center agitates fine but stops at spin and won't drain. I had an electrician check it, he checked the lid switch which was fine, and he said the pump was fine. He said the timer needs to be changed. He never looked at the timer though. Could that be the reason for no spin and drain? Can it be something else? When my timer reaches spin, it just makes a noise and then stops.
1 Answer Cherry, it is possible that the timer WH12X10164 is the failure. The timer can be tested once the unit has gone into a state of failure (not going into a drain and spin) by unplugging the laundry center (or turning off the breaker) and testing the timer from terminal pin 21 to pin 20 and from pin 21 to pin 14 for continuity. If there is no continuity, then the timer has failed and would need to be replaced. Read More...
Royce December 26, 2016 for Model Number Frigidaire stacker washer dryer unit. Model FGX831FS I have a washer that needs a new timer part number off the timer is #134883600 yes I see you sell them and you may not want to help me after I ask you this question. I can get a GE part, but the a guy but of course it's a GE part number. I don't know and he doesn't know if has the right cycles on it. Do you have any cross references for GE to Frigidaire. Frigidaire makes this one for GE too as you know. But GE has a W Number. Can yoiu help?
1 Answer Royce, You would not want to try to cross reference a GE timer to a Frigidaire product. The reason for this is the contacts may be different and the cycles may be different and we would not be able to assist with locating a part that would work. Read More...
Frank August 23, 2016 for Model Number WSM27TDAWWW The washer works fine, it fills, agitates, spins, and drains. However, the timer knob does not move. when manually turned, the machine reacts accordingly at certain point of its cycle, but the dial/knob does not advance as the washing cycle should. The Knob itself is dislodged, but not broken. Is this a simply a solution of reconnecting the knobs to the Timer-washer? Please advise. Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Frank. It sounds like the timer is bad and will need to be replaced. The model number will have to be verified on the units I.D. tag since the one listed came up invalid. This will be necessary to look up and specific parts such as the one you requested. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. We will need your model number to help you with this. Please call 1-877-477-7278 or post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx Read More...

Alfred November 30, 2015 for Model Number WSM2780DAWWW washer fills up-- no agitation--if you advance the timer the pump drains the tub-- goes in spin cycle. I already replaced the timer-- same exact situation
1 Answer Alfred, You'll need to check or replace the water level switch WH12X10083, and check the wires and air tube. When the washer water level reaches the selected height the switch closes and completes the circuit to make the motor run in the agitate direction. sometimes a faulty switch or loose wire will not allow the circuit to complete and the motor run. Cheryl October 22, 2014 for Model Number GW WSM2700WCWCC The washer will fill the water but it will not stop, it continues to run the water and if it's stopped manually the wash cycle will not agitate, it will only rinse and spin dry..needless to say once the water is filled the water is also leaking from under the washing machine
1 Answer Hello Cheryl. You need to check the pressure hose WH41X10038 and see if it has come off or it is bad. Read More...
Gibbons March 08, 2014 for Model Number wsm2700dawww The washer works fine, it fills up and agitates good, when it gets to the spin cycle I can hear it click then nothing happens. The knob doesn`t even move, is this a signal issue or some type of pump issue?
1 Answer Hello Gibbons. You need to check the lid switch on the unit and see if it is good. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Ricardo C February 17, 2014 for Model Number WSM2700WWW The washing machine start the cycle and finish, but the water pump, (the pump are good) no recieve the signal to start and the machine don"t start the dry cycle. It's posible the timer-washer is the problems?
1 Answer Ricardo, Based on the description it sound like there may be 2 separate issues. For the washer if the drain pump is good but not receiving signal then the timer would most likely be the issue. For the dryer not starting you will want to check the thermal fuse to ensure that it has continuity. If there is no continuity then it is bad. If the thermal fuse checks ok then you will want to check the door switch to make sure that it is good. Read More...
Jessica May 11, 2013 for Model Number WSM2700 The washing machine will fill up, but will not start the cycle. I can move the knob to rinse and spin and they work fine.
1 Answer Jessica, You will want to check to make sure that when the unit goes to agitate that the motor is getting power. If the motor is getting power but not turning on then the motor is faulty and would need to be replaced. If the motor is not getting power then you will want to check the timer for sending power.
