William December 09, 2011 for Model Number DBSR453EB2WW Only on one cycle the dryer will not shut off the clothes are hot so the elements must be working. Can this be the timer or could it be something else.? If so what else should I check ?
1 Answer Hi William. The timer needs replaced if the cycle will not shut off. The internal contacts are shorted. Timer part # WE4M271. It may be that the heater is staying constantly engaged. Make sure the entire vent system is clear. Make sure the vent hood cap opens and closes properly. Once you get the timer replaced and the unit shuts off, the cycling thermostat can be sticky and needing replaced if the dryer is hot from the center of the sides and the top. Cycling thermostat is part # WE4M216. Thank you. Read More...

1 Answer Tommy, Sorry but we're not much help. We rely on the proper model and serial number when we research parts availability. We've attempted to cross reference all the numbers you supplied, and were unsuccessful retrieving a part number for your timer. You may want to contact the manufacturer with the same information, they may be able to assist you. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
