One of the brown wires has a piggyback connection and you would be able to just unplug both wires and plug both to one connector. Lee P December 07, 2016 for Model Number GE DPSR610EG3WT This electric dry does work, but the timer selector does not move through the several stages of drying. Dryer continues to run until it is manually stopped. I assume the problem is the "Timer", part #AP3995101. Do you think that if I replace the "Timer" it will correct the ;problem?
1 Answer Lee, This unit has a circuit board in it that could be causing the issue. You will want to check the timer motor to see if it is getting power to it. If it is getting 120 vac to the timer motor but not rotating then the timer would be the issue. If there is not 120 vac to the timer motor then the printed circuit board would be the issue.
