Hello Christine, and thank you for your question. The manufacturer recommended filter is part number AGF80300702 with the bypass plug ABN73019101 listed for this model having the same end. However, there should be a part number on the original filter that can be used for referencing the filter needed.

Duane, if the filter is being pushed down as far as it will go without excessive strain, it is possible that the filter head ADQ36011714 is locking up. It may be possible to shut off the water supply, press the water dispenser for a second, and relieve the water pressure just enough to release the filter. If it still will not come out, the filter head and filter would need to be replaced.

Richard, If the ice is clumping together and not dispensing then check the ice door to make sure that there is no air leak around it. If it is good then it sounds like maybe the icemaker is leaking which could be caused by either a faulty water valve or an ice maker that is damaged.

Hello Susan, you are correct the manufacturer has discontinued the filter (ADQ36006102) for your ref model, there is no listed substitute, suggest you do an internet search for a generic filter.

Mike, You will want to make sure that the filter head is rotated all the way to the down position and if the filter will not slide up into the head one way then flip it over and try it. The filter should slide in the push up on the filter to rotate the head and lock it in place.
