Bill August 19, 2025 for Model Number LFX25950TT Trying to fix this Ice Maker. There is water supply to the dispenser on the front of the fridge. The temperature in the ice tray is around 10 degrees. I thought that maybe the "bin full" sensor was bad, so i ordered another maker from you guys. The video was great and the replacement went smoothly. This didn't fix the problem. I tried the reset button, and, several times I have heard the mechanism of the tray dump operating when I walked by the fridge with the door closed. What is left? The control board? Any ideas?
1 Answer Hello Bill, and thank you for your question. Since the ice maker can be heard running through a harvest cycle, does the water valve hum at the end of the cycle? If it does, the fill tube is likely clogged with ice. In that case, the ice will need to be cleared and the valve 5220JB2008A in the door would need to be replaced. Judy H May 27, 2025 for Model Number LMXS30776D/02 The ice maker will not dump the ice from the tray. If I push the reset button, it will cycle one time. The tray fills with water, the ice does freeze, but it will not dump it into the bin. Is there a sensor that needs replacement, or do we need an entire ice maker ?Electrically it all checks out okay, and the water line works fine. Thanks!

Melissa April 24, 2025 for Model Number LMXS30776S/01 My ice maker stopped dumping ice and gets stuck in the sideways position. I read several things online and watch videos on fixing it. I purchased the AEQ73110210 ice maker assembly replacement, installed it according to the video but the new one is doing the exact same thing. Filling with water, making ice, and getting stuck. When I power cycle it, it dumps the ice fine. Any other recommendations? Now I can't return the replacement even though it doesn't solve the problem???

All I can see for replacements have a different wiring connection than mine does. I have a some what square 6 pin connection, and an 8 pin rectangular connector. My ice maker model number is: AEQ73110210. Is there an ice maker with this type of connections, or do I need to purchase a wiring converter. Thank you for your help on this matter.

Dave July 31, 2023 for Model Number LFXS27566S The ice maker (model AEQ73110210) will not dispense the ice. I can see it attempt to dump the ice but it only moves slightly and returns to it's original position. I have tried to reset (turned off for 30 seconds) but still doing the same thing. I removed the ice maker and re-installed, now not even filling with water. Thoughts?
Sandra July 03, 2023 for Model Number LFXS24566S GM. There appears to be a loose tube in the ice maker. when I remove the bin, but I can't figure out where it should be tucked away at. When I rotate the tray, it sort of gets stuck at one end of the ice tray so the tray isn't even when it drops the ice. I am wondering if that has something to do with the ice not dropping into the bin. When rotating the tray, the water fills up immediately so it's nothing with the water line.

Doug April 23, 2023 for Model Number AEQ73110210 I installed the new ice maker and waited 48 hours. Water is not dispensing into the ice maker. Water in the door works fine. Pressing the reset button on the ice maker does nothing either. I held for up to 20 seconds and nothing.
