Andy, The manufacturer may use different suppliers depending on how much the fuse will cost them so they may have clear or they may have the white fuses on the board.

Bill, There is a connector that has a fuse above it. This connection should tell at the bottom what connections it is. It should say L1 and N and when you locate these 2 connections then that is your point of testing for 120 vac to the control board.

Hello Debby, The reset is usually only used when the unit has been in the diagnostic mode. The unit can also be reset by unplugging the unit for 3 minutes and re-connecting it to power. The reset button should not have to be pressed upon installation of a new board.

Hello Sergio. Access the back of the unit and disconnect the power and remove the cover panel to access the board. Once you access it, you will remove the wires and remove the board from the unit and install the new board in reverse order.

Nate for Model Number LFC23760

I am an electronics tech and my parents LG fridge went out and the repair guy used a jumper over a blown fuse on the main PCB to get it working again. I really don't like that fix, so next time I am there to visit I want to fix it properly. Do you have any info on the value of the fuses on the AP4501410 board so I can have the parts on hand? The repair guy wanted to charge them $400 for the board alone, even if I need to eventually order the board it will be way cheaper to do it myself.

Hello Nate. You would need to contact the manufacture to see if you can get the value of the fuse from them. We do not have that information. Thank you.

Aeris for Model Number LFC23760 ( no other letters)

I woke up around 5 and went downstairs to get a drink the refrigerator was working fine. Then when I woke up at 8, it had stopped working. Everything was off. I tried restarting the plugs and plugging them back in and the plugs are fine. I tried plugging something else into the plug and it worked fine. So it must be something with the refrigerator. I really need help my food is going bad and im trying not to open the refrig as much. Please help and Thank you.

Hello Aeris, The only thing the service manual says about a situation such as this is that the power supply is insufficient. You need to check the power at the outlet to see the exact voltage. Plugging something else in will not give you this information. You could also have a "loose" receptacle. If all of this is good, you will probably have to replace the main control board EBR41531302. I was going to send you some illustrated service information, but it cannot be posted on here. If you require this information, you can post a valid e-mail address and we can send it out to you.

Hello DAC. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the main control board EBR41531302 is bad and will need to be replaced. If there is no power to the unit, but power at the board, the board is bad. Hope this helps.

You can protect it and all your 120vac appliances with a appliance surge protecter part # TJ041000. Your main control board may come with upgrades and look differently, part # is EBR41531302.
