Andy September 29, 2014 for Model Number LFC23760SW The larger fuse (top left), looks white in middle where current fuse on my board is clear. This is the fuse that blows. Did LG change/upgrade the fuse? Or is this a picture of a refurb board?
1 Answer Andy, The manufacturer may use different suppliers depending on how much the fuse will cost them so they may have clear or they may have the white fuses on the board. Read More...
Bill July 07, 2014 for Model Number lfc23760st On a LG model LFC23760st refrigerator with a #AP4501410 control board this is suspicious of being bad, exactly where on the board do I check for incoming voltage to confirm the board is bad ???
1 Answer Bill, There is a connector that has a fuse above it. This connection should tell at the bottom what connections it is. It should say L1 and N and when you locate these 2 connections then that is your point of testing for 120 vac to the control board. Read More...
Debby January 30, 2014 for Model Number lfc23760 I am replacing the main control board with a new one. There appears to be a reset button on the board. Do I push it after installing the board or not. Thank you
1 Answer Hello Debby, The reset is usually only used when the unit has been in the diagnostic mode. The unit can also be reset by unplugging the unit for 3 minutes and re-connecting it to power. The reset button should not have to be pressed upon installation of a new board. Read More...

Nate September 06, 2012 for Model Number LFC23760 I am an electronics tech and my parents LG fridge went out and the repair guy used a jumper over a blown fuse on the main PCB to get it working again. I really don't like that fix, so next time I am there to visit I want to fix it properly. Do you have any info on the value of the fuses on the AP4501410 board so I can have the parts on hand? The repair guy wanted to charge them $400 for the board alone, even if I need to eventually order the board it will be way cheaper to do it myself.
1 Answer Hello Nate. You would need to contact the manufacture to see if you can get the value of the fuse from them. We do not have that information. Thank you. Read More...
Aeris August 04, 2012 for Model Number LFC23760 ( no other letters) I woke up around 5 and went downstairs to get a drink the refrigerator was working fine. Then when I woke up at 8, it had stopped working. Everything was off. I tried restarting the plugs and plugging them back in and the plugs are fine. I tried plugging something else into the plug and it worked fine. So it must be something with the refrigerator. I really need help my food is going bad and im trying not to open the refrig as much. Please help and Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Aeris, The only thing the service manual says about a situation such as this is that the power supply is insufficient. You need to check the power at the outlet to see the exact voltage. Plugging something else in will not give you this information. You could also have a "loose" receptacle. If all of this is good, you will probably have to replace the main control board EBR41531302. I was going to send you some illustrated service information, but it cannot be posted on here. If you require this information, you can post a valid e-mail address and we can send it out to you. Read More...
Dac January 17, 2012 for Model Number AP4501410 I have LG Model Refrig LFC23760SB- There appears to be no power to the unit- no light/fan etc. There is power on the line in/neutral leg that clips to the lower part of the control board. I assume the control board is bad- the fuses are intact- could there be another cause before I order an new control board ??? Thanks DAC
1 Answer Hello DAC. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the main control board EBR41531302 is bad and will need to be replaced. If there is no power to the unit, but power at the board, the board is bad. Hope this helps. Read More...
Tracy August 27, 2011 for Model Number LFC23760STA My fridge is only 2 1/2 yrs old. A glass fuse on the main circuit board is also blown. The circuit panel is under the cover that says (Tec only) it is the main circuit board. My question is what would make that fuse to blow? I see on post that this is a common problem with LG's. I would like to order the repalcement panel but affraid if it happens again then I would be out $200,and have to order another. Any suggestions?
1 Answer Hi Tracy. If you live close to the end of the power co. trunk line, then you will be succeseptacle to power surges and spikes. Have you had any storms lately. The main boards are touchy. You can protect it and all your 120vac appliances with a appliance surge protecter part # TJ041000. Your main control board may come with upgrades and look differently, part # is EBR41531302.
