Keep your refrigerator cooling reliably. This DC condenser fan motor drives the rear fan that moves air across the condenser coils and compressor, helping the unit shed heat so fresh food and freezer temperatures stay stable.

  • Circulates air through the condenser to dissipate heat
  • Supports proper cooling performance and helps protect the compressor from overheating
  • Common symptoms: fan not running or intermittent, loud grinding/squealing, warm temperatures, hot compressor area or cabinet sides
  • May run noisy before failing or cause the fridge to run longer than normal
What's included: One DC fan motor Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and pull the refrigerator out for rear access
  • Remove the lower rear access panel to reach the fan area near the compressor
  • Note connector orientation; transfer the fan blade and any grommets/bracket from the old motor if applicable
  • Ensure the blade spins freely and wires are clear before restoring power and reassembling

Questions & Answers

For Lg Condenser Fan Motor (Refrigerator, Dc) (Part Number: OEM18706356)

Kir, The Er Dh would not be caused by a fan motor not working properly. If the fan motor were not working it would trigger a ER FF error code which is for the freezer fan not working. The ER DH can be caused by 3 different things. 1st thing you have already tried which is the defrost controller 6615JB2005H. With this checking ok then you would want to check the continuity of the defrost heater to make sure that it is good. The defrost heater is part number 5300JK1005D. The last thing would be, if both the heater and controller check ok, the main control board EBR41956401. The ER DH is a representation of a defrost circuit issue.

Hello Aaron. Yes, based on the code you provided, it sounds like the fan motor 4681JB1029D is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
