I've already replaced the defrost heater sensor and the fridge still displays er dH. I had an appliance company come out and tell me it was the fan motor that went out and causing the fridge to not reach a certain temp and triggering the er dH code.
1 Answer Kir, The Er Dh would not be caused by a fan motor not working properly. If the fan motor were not working it would trigger a ER FF error code which is for the freezer fan not working. The ER DH can be caused by 3 different things. 1st thing you have already tried which is the defrost controller 6615JB2005H. With this checking ok then you would want to check the continuity of the defrost heater to make sure that it is good. The defrost heater is part number 5300JK1005D. The last thing would be, if both the heater and controller check ok, the main control board EBR41956401. The ER DH is a representation of a defrost circuit issue. Read More...
