Hello Tom. Not likely. You will need to make sure the condenser coils are clean and the fan works. If so, you will need an HVAC tech, It sounds like the sealed system is bad.

Hello Scott. It could be if you have an even frost pattern on the evaporator coils. If not, then the sealed system is failing and will need to be repaired on the unit.

Hello Jeff, The wiring seems to be correct as far as the connections as listed. If 120Vac is being supplied to the compressor and the compressor is running, there will be a sealed system issue. Otherwise, you will need to determine where the circuit is dropping the voltage. If the relay rattles, the ceramic disk internal to the component has failed and the relay will need to be replaced.

Hello Bradley. You will need to check the light switch for the freezer. If it is good, replace the main board. As for the icing up in the unit, you will need to check the door gasket for the freezer.

Jon T., This issue could be caused by several things. The first thing to check would be the evaporator coils in the freezer. Check the frost pattern on them and see what the pattern looks like. If it is where there is very little frost on the coils, like where it comes in and starts frost and goes down one or 2 loops then no frost at all on the lower section then the issue would be a sealed system problem. If the coils are impacted by ice then the issue would be with the defrost system. You would want to check the defrost sensor to see if it is good and if it checks ok then the issue would be with the control board. If the evaporator coil has no frost pattern at all then you will want to check to see if the compressor is running. If it is and there is no frost pattern at all then the issue will be in the sealed system.

David, For the icemaker and the dispenser to both fail at the exact same time then yes the control board would be the most likely cause for the issue.
