Sumer November 14, 2016 for Model Number WT4870CW The drain pump runs continuously on our washer. We checked all the drain hoses, checked the pump for debris, unplugged it and held the start button for 5 seconds to reset the unit, tested the continuity of the pressure switch, and the continunity of the thermistor. Still the drain pump continues to run. Only shuts off when it is unplugged. Any Ideas?
1 Answer Sumer, This issue would likely be in the control board in which a relay for the drain pump is stuck causing it to run continuously. Read More...
Dkappelm May 10, 2016 for Model Number 796.2900 How do I access the suspension rods on my Kenmore Elite Model 796.2900 washer for replacement? Suspension Rod Part Number is 4902FA1665W (X4 I need disassembly instructions to be able to access and replace the Suspensions Rods. Sears Parts Direct said that replacing the rods would fix our continued uE and UE codes that the washer shows. The washer is level and setting firmly on all four feet. I received the four (4) suspension rods yesterday afternoon. Please provide any information or link to instructions. Thanks in advance for any assistance that you can provide.
1 Answer Hello dkappelm. You will release the 2 clips on the front of the unit. Then you will lift the top up. Now you can replace the suspension rods on the unit. Read More...
