Also do you need to remove the back of the dryer to do the installation? The instruction book does not mention that.

Carol August 06, 2015 for Model Number DLGX3471W I'm wanting to change the vent outlet to side venting, right side. I ordered this part, looks similar at least, from another vendor but it is designed to change it to the left side of the dryer. My husband took apart the dryer and there is too much stuff in the way to use it as it is designed for the left side. Do you have anything that would work to change it to a right side venting?
