T. August 28, 2016 for Model Number MCBR4025 Fridge just stopped working... Took relay to the "man", he said was probably good.. "no noise when shaking it". But, I took overload off and it "rattled", so ordered form you all and got it.. put it on and still no go... Have checked compressor for ohms and "i think" it is good.. If relay IS bad, should it make the "click" like everyone else says that theirs does when power is on? Such a nice fridge, I hate to trash it if it is savable?? HELP!!!!!! Thank you!!! T.

Bill January 13, 2015 for Model Number MCBR1010GS Replacement start relay is different from original round type...understand that terminal 2 is labeled for N or neutral....original has black or ground soldered...am I supposed to de solder from old relay and solder to terminal 1 in order to use the part?
1 Answer Bill, There should be a wire that would connect to the overload using a spade terminal. The original overload would be the round disc that has a wire soldered to it. The relay would then have a connector that goes to the number 2 terminal which is all that would need to be connected to it. Read More...
Ron April 26, 2014 for Model Number MCBR1010W My refrigerator cools perfectly .the only problem is a very loud huming vibrating sound comes from it when the compresor is running. could it be from the Ptc starter?
1 Answer Ron, The PTC starter would not cause a loud humming vibrating sound. It sounds more like it may be a copper line vibrating against the cabinet or against another line. Check the lines and the condenser coil to make sure that the vibration is not coming from them. This is the most likely scenario. Read More...
