Vincent November 26, 2012 for Model Number Whirlpool Washer Model LA9800XM Water is leakimg out the bottom of the washer. The hoses are tightly secured and not leaking. The drain line is not leaking. No water is coming from the rear of the washer. It's only leaking from the bottom of the washer. The tub emptied out completely. What do you think is the problem?
1 Answer Hello Vincent, You will need to open the machine to see where the water is leaking. You could have a hose off, a hose leaking, a crack in the tub, or centrifugal force can be slinging the water over the top of the tub. Check it out and let us know if we can assist you further. Read More...
Kenneth Keith October 23, 2012 for Model Number la9800 I have what looks like a two outlet version of this part. Can I use this one to replace the old one? The old one is part number 359766, I can't seem to find that part.
1 Answer Hi Kenneth, you only provided the first half of your model number but most models in this series use direct drive pump part# WP3363394. If you would provide the complete model number I can confirm this and I do not show part# 359766 as a valid part number. Hope this helps! Read More...
Sam D. March 29, 2012 Hi. I recently purchased from you a (PRO Pump Part # AP4502942). Thank you for the prompt service! This pump will be used in a Science Project for my son, to pump hot water through a CPVC pipe line to his project. I was in hopes the pump would come with some directions that would describe the hook-up connections for this pump. Since it will not be used as a direct replacement in its intended use, any help or referral you could be would be greatly appreciated.Thank you for your time and trouble. 1. Which is the inlet….Which is the outlet? 2. What is the direction of rotation of the pump shaft? 3. What is the function of the “shifter arm”?
1 Answer Hi Sam. The pump is part # TJ90LP115. The intake is the slanted on the side of the pump leading directly to the center of the pump. The lever is used on older Whirlpool washer models that engage the pump and opens the internal flapper so during the rinse and spin it will allow the drain. The drain port is the one that is straight on the side of the pump body. The direction of flow is clockwise. If you are just needing a non -lever actuated belt driven pump, use part TJ90LP115. Thank You. Read More...
