Matt July 31, 2017 for Model Number RF266AERS The water dispenser in my fridge stopped working yesterday and when I pulled off the rubbed (AP4160813), I saw the the dispenser cover button (AP4152120) was not attached to anything. When I removed the cover plate, it looks like the button had broken off of the cover plate and it is not removable. That is, it should just be fused to the cover. However, I see that you sell the button as a standalone piece. Is the button removable by itself? Or is is all part of that cover piece? Do I likely just need a new button, so will I need the whole assembly (AP4169956). Thank you very much for your help! Matt
1 Answer Matt, It appears that this dispenser cover button just clips onto the cover plate. When you look at it there is a piece at the end that is like a u shape that would clip into place. Read More...
