Questions & Answers

For Samsung Dryer User Interface Assembly (Part Number: OEM17750430)

Mark, you may want to check the terminal block to be sure that the wires are securely connected. From there you may want to check to ensure that the user interface DC92-01624E is properly indicating the heat that is selected. If the times that it does not heat, if the clothes are damp and warm then the most likely case would be that the ventilation duct is blocked up. If it does not heat at all, as there is a new control, heater assembly, and thermistors then the most likely case would be the user interface not indicating to the main control to allow for heating.

Marje, the user interface [DC92-01624E] would be the most likely issue. You will want to check the wiring to make sure that it has no breaks in it and to make sure that the connections are not loose. If the wiring and connections are good, then you would want to change out the user interface control [DC92-01624E].

Have a Samsung Dryer (DV45H7000EW/A2) Mfg. Date:: 05.2014. Dryer user interface will not light up or start. Checked the receptacle, power cord, and plug/dryer connections with a multi-meter and all are good. Also, disassembled the dryer and checked all the parts with a multi-meter; everything is good there too. The only 2 things that I think it could be would be the Pcb Main or Pcb Sub circuit boards. Since no body around town knows how to test them, what are your thoughts on which one it might be?

Sam, You will want to check the wiring between the main board and the display board. If the wiring checks ok then this will most likely be caused by a faulty main control board.

Mark, The relay on the board that is for the heater will be energized by the board based on the selection of the temp. This issue will most likely be a bad main control which is part number DC92-01626B.

DBT, You will want to check to see if there is 120 vac getting to the motor when the start button is pushed. If there is 120 vac then this issue will be caused by a bad motor and if there is not proper power then this will be a faulty main control board.

Craig B for Model Number DV45H7000EW/A2-0000

So my dryer just runs with the door shut... nothing on the reader board... no heat... just goes and goes and goes. When I do "turn it on" while it's already spinning... the control board does come on allowing me to pick times and cycles, but it doesn't actually let me select them. It just keeps running with no heat. I have unplugged... re-plugged... doesn't matter. I need to know what part to order and how to go about having someone actually put the part in.

Randy S. for Model Number DV45H7000EW/A2-0000

Tonight my dryer would not shut off on its own. I had to open the door to get it to stop spinning. It's worth noting the heat was not on while it was "off", and it did complete its cycle. The drum just keeps running while power is off. I was able to fix it by starting a new cycle while the drum continued running, and it did heat up like normal. When I powered it off after this, all is good again. Does this sound like a sticking relay in the PCB? If so, I want to get it replaced fixed ASAP. I am very capable of doing the repair on my own. Thanks

Hello Randy, This can be a harness issue or a control issue DC92-01626B. Check all points where the harness contacts anything to include neighboring wires before replacing the control. I would run the System Check Mode to verify the motor relay operation. To enter the System Check Mode, start with the machine in the "Off" State, press the Dry Level and Power Keys at the exact same time. “ t2 ” will display. System Check Mode will accomplish the following: Motor (CW) Relay On then Heater Relay On then Heater Relay Off and Motor (CW) Relay Off. If it fails to stop upon completion, the relay is the issue.
