Paul March 30, 2023 for Model Number RM255LASH replaced compressor relay and overload switch but freezer still not working. what should i look for next?
1 Answer Paul, the overload would need to be tested for 120VAC. If there is voltage present and there is no or little frost on the freezer evaporator, this would be a sealed system failure. An EPA-certified technician would be required to diagnose and repair the specific failure. Read More...

Nhan September 15, 2020 for Model Number RH269LBSH Hello Pro, I bought a relay protector from your site. it just got home today, open up and hear the sound like something broken inside when I slightly shake it. this sound same as the old relay i have issue with. I am not sure this is consider broken or something else to cause the condenser not running. I tested my condenser with Ohm meter. all reading is 10-4-4. please advise. Thanks
1 Answer Nhan, There will be a little rattle to the overload protector but should not cause it to not work. Normally if the compressor is not running then it would be more likely a start relay that is bad rather than the overload. Read More...
Paul October 16, 2018 for Model Number RS261MDBP/XAA Both sides (refrigerator and freezer) not cooling. Fan runs. Can hear the compressor humming (running?). Can the problem be the compressor overload? Or something else? Thanks much.
1 Answer Paul, if the compressor is constantly running then the overload/relay is not the problem. You have either a defective compressor or it is low on freon. Read More...
Dave May 17, 2018 for Model Number AVANTI CHEST FREEZER CF35M2P MY Compressor in not coming on and i HEAR a clicking sound when it is power. I took the compressor overload off and notice a shaking sound coming from it. Could it be the overload is bad and can I use any compressor overload for replacement. Thanks
